I entered an All-Women Hackathon early in my programming journey. The theme for this hackathon was social impact. I proposed a product that would help individuals address their wellbeing by focusing on four pillars of their health: nutrition, fitness, rest, and mind. This catalyzed me to lead a team of ladies in creating a product that would be a one-stop shop for their wellness.

Collaboration

Our team discussed user scenarios, user flow, and an MVP for our prototype. Our team consisted of three developers, a project manager and a product manager.

Wireframes

I drew wireframes for our team of developers (including myself) to build. Here is one of the landing page.

This a wireframe of a sample dashboard.

Product

Based on the color theme our team decided on, I created a page that introduced the Mohala product.

I worked on building the user selection screen in which the user selects one area of their health to focus on.

Creative Process

1. Research: We created a user persona to base our product on and identified some of her problems during the pandemic.

2. Roadmap: Using the insights from our sample user, I created a user flow.

3. Dashboard features: After selecting a pillar to zero in on, they were given access to tools that would help them cultivate growth in that targeted area.
